So, the Spring of 2022 is here to bring some Springtime nostalgic vibes with the latest Jordan lineup! This lineup includes the comeback of one of the greatest releases in Air Jordan history – the Jordan 13 Brave Blue! The return of a Jordan that goes waaay back – 24 years to be exact – back to 1998!
The Air Jordan 13 BRAVE BLUE takes us back to the 1998 NAVY colorway. It first dropped back in 98 in a low-top version and a navy colorway. Also, we had a retro release of the same iteration back in 2017! But now, thank the sneaker lords, we’re getting a release of a high-top version instead. And, we can all agree that we love them high tops a lot more!
So, 1998’s OG low-top version featured leather toes with more of a navy-colored upper. The new iteration definitely does not match the OG, but it’s still pretty cool! It also featured suede material all over! However, the 2022 version is a little bit different! Let’s find out more about the release of this blast from the past!

AIR JORDAN 13 BRAVE BLUE
How does the upcoming Jordan 13 BRAVE BLUE differ from the OG 1998 iteration in NAVY? Well, there are actually a few features that make it different (and better!). So, starting off with the higher collar length making this 13 a high-top version! Although this might seem like a very small change, it does take this Jordan to a whole new level! Legendary kicks indeed!
Also, one of the biggest additions to these sneakers has to be the dark blue reflective 3M mesh uppers. This gives these Jordans a reflective character which is definitely a plus! We can never get enough reflective sneakers in this industry! In contrast, it has black midsoles, laces, and a toe box! And, of course, we’ve got the signature Jumpman logo on the tongue in the Navy – Black – White – University Blue color scheme.
Finally, we can’t forget about the traditional holograms on the heel! And, to finish up the entire look, comes black rubber outsoles accented with white pods! PLUS, these Jordan 13 Brave Blue come in special packaging with each pair coming in a unique Jordan box!
