    Nowadays, NFTs have become common knowledge. Almost everyone with internet access knows what an NFT is if they don’t already own one that is. But many of you may not know that there are different types of NFTs. There are ten different types of NFTs, to be exact, and they all differ when it comes to their roles in the community. Each NFT type has its own characteristics and rewards. Let’s dig in. 


    NFTs, or Non-Fungible Tokens, are a type of digital asset that showcases one’s ownership or proof of authenticity of a unique asset or piece of content. Such as artwork, music, videos, collectibles, and many more. NFTs differ from cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, which are fungible and have the ability to be exchanged on a one-to-one basis.

    The first type of NFT is the PFPs NFTs, or Profile Picture NFTs are easily the most popular type of NFT in the market. Everyone knows this form of NFTs, and even when you look up NFTs on ‘Twitter’ a bunch of PFPs will appear on your feed. Some people use PFPs as digital avatars for profile pictures on social media platforms. 

    The PFP category has some of the most famous NFT collections ever! Like BAYC, Doodles, Crypto Punks, and many more! Even celebrities have gotten into the NFT game and some even have their own PFPs as their profile picture on social media.

    As the NFT community expands usage of NFTs is also evolving and people are finding new ways to incorporate NFTs into their daily lives. And a peculiar usage of NFTs is as tickets for events. Ticketing NFTs allow the holders to use tokens as access passes to live and virtual events alike. 

    This differs from normal digital ticketing because these NFTs not only serve as entry tickets. But also act as a way for issuers to decree the exact number of attendees.
