According to a Tweet by @theYeezyMafia, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Blue Tint’ will be the last pair of V2s for a long time. It is official sneakerheads, the last Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in 2017 is dropping on December 16th. It was a crazy Yeezy season for the V2s with the Semi Frozen Yellow and Beluga 2.0. Blood and tears were shed over the Yeezy V2s since they came out. And now that we know the Blue Tint will be the last V2s for a long time, that’s got me thinking Yeezys are dead. But are they?

Regardless of whether the V2s risks oversaturation, it is still sad to know that they’ll be gone for a while, or worse, gone for good. But what’s the story with the new YeezyBoost 350 V2? The one with a grayish primeknit and a visually disturbing SPLY-350 written obliquely in a teal color? Maybe Kanye and Adidas don’t want to cut off the 350 V2 line right away, and this v2 can be the last dose for Yeezy addicts before they’re taken away from them.

Yeezys in 2018
The first Yeezy to drop in 2018 is the black Powerphase, it is set to release in January. What a way to start the year! But many are wondering, what about the other Yeezys? We’re gonna say goodbye to the Yeezy 350 V2 for a while. And the Yeezys we expect in the near future doesn’t seem too exciting.
Well, remember when Kanye and Kim went out on the streets showing off two new Yeezy models in the same week One of them which Kanye wore, looked like a basketball sneaker. However, we’ve had no more updates about this model since. Perhaps we’ll start hearing more about it come 2018.
The second of the new Yeezys was the Desert Rat 500 which is set to come out in spring 2018. So far, we know that it comes in two colorways, white which Kim calls “Mud Rat” and a dark gray color. Most mentionable, it does not contain Adidas Boost. In fact, none of the new Yeezys so far include Boost. Why is that? Could this be the end of the Yeezy Boosts? Maybe it’s true that Yeezys are dead, because Boost is dead.
And by the way, what happened to the Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runners? The hype for them gradually built up over the past couple months, especially after finally being shipped off to their owners. But the Wave Runners were supposed to come in two new colorways, white and black. We haven’t had any updates on that yet, only some really nice pictures. Perhaps we also have that to look forward to in 2018?
Recapping:
According to the YeezyMafia, who apparently is never wrong, the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Blue Tint will be the last V2 for a very long time. New Yeezys we’re currently anticipating for 2018 include:
- The Desert Rat 500.
- More Wave Runner 700s in white and black.
- AÂ basketball Yeezy hopefully before NBA season ends.
Do you think Yeezys are dead? Or are you gonna try to cop the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Blue Tint before the whole v2 line becomes a part of sneaker history? This could actually be your last chance. You can also try your luck with the Yeezy Powerphases.
