TBT: Yeezy Bred Taking Us Back to 2017 With A Restock!

Today’s throwback is taking us all the way back to 2017! And we all know what that means. Yeezys are the definition of hype and they’re selling out faster than you can say “Yeezy”! And the news of an upcoming restock just made us get all nostalgic about the 2017 Yeezy Bred. So how about a trip down memory lane to refresh our Yeezy knowledge and know everything we need to know before the restock of the sneakers!

And if you wanna check out some more of the best of the best kicks, better check this out!

Yeezy Bred Drops For The First Time!

It’s the beginning of 2017, and Yeezys still have the Sply-350 side strip. However, this is all about to change with Yeezy Bred! The new Yeezy 350 V2 arrived in a full black Primeknit upper and Boost midsole. However, with this release, they dropped the side stripe and kept a red SPLY-350! Finally, the only other hint of red is the stitching on the heel tab. The interesting thing about Yeezy Bred is the name! Bred obviously points out to the black and red colorway, but is it a hint about the fact that Kanye wanted to “jump over the Jumpman”?

    Yeezy Bred 2017 2020

Yeezy Bred dropped on February 11, 2017. You could consider it Valentine’s gift from Yeezus to the masses. It retailed for the usual $220, but that’s not what we’re really looking forward to! If we take a look at the average resale value on different resale platforms, they go as follows:

    StockX: $891
    GOAT: $1,270
    Flight Club: $1,000+

So, as we can see, Yeezy Bred is a pretty valuable pair of kicks. So it’s a long time’s worth of savings if you wanna own this pair. But if you already own them, boy you sitting on some real good cash!

We’re Ready For A Yeezy Bred Restock!

Don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying we hate the earth-toned Yeezys. But a change of palette is always a welcome treat for us! However, when Yeezy Mafia went on and announced the upcoming restock, people received the news with mixed feelings. People who took the L in 2017 are pretty happy about the restock.

On the other hand, people who own deadstock Yeezy Bred 350s are seriously considering reselling the kicks. If you’re wondering why, let’s take a minute and remember the Frozen Yellows! From $1,000+ resale to an average of $315, the restocks made their resale value drop… really drop.

    Yeezy Bred Kids

According to Yeezy Mafia, we can expect the Yeezy Bred restock in December 2020, aka the ho-ho-holiday season! They will be available in full family sizes worldwide too! But as we all know, Yeezy release dates have a high chance of changing. So who knows? Maybe the kicks will restock on time, later, or not at all! But either way, keep it locked on our blog for the latest sneaker news!
